New Range Rover Autobiography

by Grant Draper
New Range Rover Autobiography

The new top of the range, high spec Range Rover will be making its first global appearance at this year’s British International Motor Show, which will take place on 22nd July 2008.

The new 2009 model variation will feature a special feature; a name previously used for Range Rover’s bespoke production side of work, the Autobiography.

This will prove to be one of the most luxurious, if not the most luxurious, production Range Rover ever.

Featuring more leather upholstery than any other production Range Rover ever produced, from the very best hides, it’s likely to become a definite collectors’ item in the future.

Of course it’s not all just leather, although most of it is, with the facia, steering wheel, door casings, door bins, seats and centre console all now finished in leather.

That’s not all; the 2009 Autobiography features 20-inch twin-seven-spoke alloy wheels, new paint colours and a half wood steering wheel with matching gearshift insert as an optional extra.

The base model will be fitted with the TDV8 turbo diesel, while the other models incorporate the supercharged petrol engine.

The Autobiography, at £72,995, let’s face it is not cheap, but can you resist the new wheel styles, exterior paint jobs, satellite navigation and TV?
