Boffins prove women turned on by sexy sports cars

Apparently it takes a scientific study to confirm what generations of men have known in their hearts for a 100% certainty.

The sound of a sports car turns women on!

Now it a scientific fact, and there is no denying it.

Women may sneer and make remarks comparing sports car engine size to certain male attributes, but now we know women like sports cars more than men do.

The study, paid for by motor insurer Hiscox, looked at how men and women respond to the sound of a revving sports car.

They compared the results to those gained from responses to the noise of regular family vehicles, and the results were pretty conclusive.

The subjects were played recordings of a super cool Lamborghini, the mighty Ferrari and a sexy Maserati.
They then had to sit through three family cars including the not so sexy Volkswagen Polo.

The scientists took saliva samples after each car soundtrack had been played, with the theory that the loud vibrating noise of car engines would provoke a state of arousal in the subjects.

To test the theory they measured the levels of testosterone in the saliva (in both men and women) as it indicates the level of sexual arousal, and in that way they could ascertain if the cars turned people on, and if so, which ones.

The results were conclusive to say the least, with a full 100% of women having significantly increased testosterone levels after enjoying the dulcet tones of the Maserati, while only 50% of the men responded in the same fashion.

Men seemed to get more exited about the Lamborghini, with 60% responding to is roar.

The boffin who carried out this enormously important scientific study was David Moxon a psychologist who said that the study revealed “significant peaks” especially in women.

He concluded that big sports car engines produce a “primeval physiological response” in women, even more so than men, and it was no big surprised that the likes of the VW Polo actually turned women off giving them a lowered level of testosterone.

At least when you buy your next Ferrari you can claim that you are buying it just to “please” your loved one and not for your own gratification.
