Bentley Roll Out The Azure T
by Alan Harten
When we think of the pinnacle of luxury car production, Crewe is not the first to town that springs to mind, but it is the birthplace of the new Bentley which has brought out a strong new edition of its luxurious convertibles, the Azure T.
The four-seater has an increased output by 51bhp to bring it up to a roaring 507 bhp with this even more powerful version of the 6.75-liter V8 engine.
But the machine has not only more horsepower, but also more power with increased torque up from 875 to 1,000 Newton meters.
That affects the performance taking it in just 5.5 seconds to the magic 60 mph mark and a not so sedate top speed of 179 mph.
Following the Bentley tradition, the Azure is easily recognizable as an absolute top of the range luxury automobile.
It is equipped with stylish 20-inch wheels with five spokes, as well as “Le Mans” air intakes in the front bumpers and a retractable ‘Flying B’ badge.
The interior is an elegant mix of brushed aluminium, exquisite leather and polished woods.
There is also an exotic sound system with no less than 10 speakers and an output of 1100 W coming from its amplifier mixed with individual Digital Signal Processor for the ultimate in listening pleasure.
Even the MPG could be considered reasonable at just over 14 miles per gallon, not so reasonable is the price of owning such luxury at around £250,000.
