BMW Win Fleet News Reliability Award
by Simon Harrison
The Fleet News Reliability Award is one of the most prestigious awards which is awarded annually to the most reliable manufacturer, and is determined by using details from leasing companies and company owners, which report on a massive 881,000 cars.
Something that, in general, BMW can’t be knocked for is their attention to detail, and of course their reliability.
This was expressed quite well this year for BMW, as they came out as the overall winner of the Fleet News Reliability Award for 2008.
BMW didn’t win without a fight, as competition came from all angles including Honda, Toyota, Ford, Volkswagen and Mercedes-Benz, who all managed to get decent placings within the award overall standings, being labeled the most reliable top six manufacturers.
BMW were awarded highly for their recent and ongoing development and redesign of the BMW 3 series, which offers leasing companies and company owners a chance to own a prestigious vehicle at a fair price, with minimal running costs.
The BMW 1 series was also highly regarded as one of the gold mines within the BMW brand.
This is the third award BMW has won in the last few months showing that, even in the current market, listening to what customers want will do wonders for your reputation!
