Ferrari unveil the new Scuderia Spider 16M

It’s been a long time coming, and Ferrari have certainly built up a lot of anticipation and anxiety based around the release of their latest development.

Well it’s finally here - the new Ferrari Scuderia Spider 16M.

Ferrari will be debuting the new development at the LA Motor Show today, which is the first glance the public get at the production vehicle.

According to Ferrari, it’s not just a restyled Spider but a re engineered one, which is now the fastest convertible that Ferrari have ever put into production.

What this means is that customers of the new Scuderia Spider 16M will benefit from the power of a more than adequate 4.3-litre V8, which produces massive torque and a shocking 510bhp at 8,500rpm.

What this means in reality is that owners will be able to rock to 62mph from a standing stop in just 3.7 seconds, and can keep their foot down, if they so wish, to the top speed of 200mph, which as we mentioned before, is more than adequate.

The 4.3-litre V8 monster works well in conjunction with the slick shift sequential manual transmission which is based on developments made throughout the F1 racing scene.

Again, the above combination is complimented by the e-diff traction control system, ensuring ultimate grip.

The new Ferrari will be available in the distinctive red, yellow and grey.
