The return of the Alfa Cloverleaf club
by Peter Charalambous
Following a recent poll undertaken by Alfa Romeo, the manufacturer has selected the lucky charm that is to represent the return of its special club, the result of which was 51 percent voted for the clover leaf, 32 percent for the horseshoe and in third was the wishbone with 9 percent of the poll.
The four leaf clover, which in Italian is Quadrifoglio, was actually used by the Italian company during their motorsport era back in the early 1930’s and so this selection has both pedigree and style.
The symbol is now the figurehead of the new owners club, and Alfa have also come on board with the offer of new drivers having an automatic three year membership to the cloverleaf club.
The main benefit of the club is the free subscription to the company’s FEEL magazine, along with discounted holidays, track days and access to the members’ focus with advanced information on new models.
The poll indicated that being an Alfa Owner is more than just about the car but also about the heritage and passion that the car evokes, and that it why it is hoped that the new club will act as a family so that new owners can share their passion for the brand.
