New C3 to be shown in Frankfurt

New C3 to be shown in Frankfurt

Citroen will debut their new C3 supermini next year with its much publicized Visiodrive windscreen which extends past the roofline over the passenger’s heads to create a combined sun roof and front window.
The first appearance of the Citroen C3 is expected at the Frankfurt auto show in September.
To reduce glare and the heat inside the car, the windscreen is tinted as it progresses farther up the windshield and creates for a very airy cabin.

Inside the C3 the interior has been amped up to give the supermini a sporty edge with premium building materials that stays the same weight as the original C3 and the little measurements of 4m long and 1.7m wide.

With carefully designed dynamics and a 900bhp turbodiesel engine the C3 is not only fuel efficient but also environmentally friendly as it only releases 99g/km C02 gases into the air making it subject to the free road tax.

In the future, Citroen is targeting vehicles that will produce even lower at 90g/km by 2011 onwards followed by a there cylinder engine that will reduce emissions accordingly as well.

The current C3 model has collected 2 million in sales and is expected to gain an additional 10% of the market in 2010 with the new model.

Citroen officially stated that the vehicle will remain rounded but with a stronger stance to appeal better to men who are interested in a sport vehicle.

The C3 will also employ new stat-stop technology to improve overall fuel efficiency.
