Daihatsu consumers are extremely happy!

Daihatsu consumers are extremely happy!

It isn’t a brand that hits the headlines very often, but it would be rude not to mention Daihatsu after their latest achievement.

The latest German J D Power Vehicle Ownership Satisfaction Study showed that the car manufacturer was the best in the field. The survey is marked with 1,000 points available, with Daihatsu managing to get 843 points.

Of course, the points mean nothing without a comparison. The closest competitors were Alfa Romeo and Mercedes-Benz. Each of the two manufacturers managed to get 835 points, closely followed by BMW with 834 points, then Audi and Toyota, which both achieved 831 points.

All of the above manufacturers did exceptionally well, considering that the industry average is currently 814 manufacturers. If they felt like they needed to improve, they should just look at smart with 772 points (the worst performer) or maybe, Chevrolet with just 775 points and even Vauxhall, which achieved just 790.

Overall, the top performing car was the Mercedes CLK-Class. It offers exceptional luxury for minimal amount of cash in comparison with its technical ability and features. Other consumers happy with their purchases included owners of BMW Z4, the Nissan Qashqai and the Renault Laguna.
