Engine rebuild- anyone done it before?

I almost don't want to install them just because they're so clean and new. It's a shame that they'll be hidden away after they're installed.

Been really busy at work, putting a bedroom in the basement and running one of the kids to soccer practice and games.**It's been tough trying to find time to work on the engine.**Here are some progress shots over the few months:








I'm kind of at a stand still right now. I've decided to tackle rebuilding the tranny too before I install it.

I forget...is that a spare engine, or the original?

If you want, i could put in my teg and break it in for ya...just a thought.

Hey max. What's up? Haha. Yeah it's a spare. It's taken me a little over a year to get to this point. I was hoping to have it in by winter, but since I've decided to do the tranny, there's no point on rushing it. Maybe spring.

What happened to this site? It got off to a good start. I didn't notice until after my last post that there hasn't been a whole lot happening in terms of recent posts.

Never rebuilt an engine myself. But I did help a friend do his. I am not sure if I would want to tackle on my own.
