Got to admit, I've never travelled much, partly because of lack of opportunity, then too many commitments.
However, after Newfoundland came up in another thread, I've certainly wanted to visit North America in general. ![]() Also - Egypt is a high priority - probably somewhere like Hurghada on the Red Sea Riviera, allowing for trips to Karnak as required. ![]() My girlfriend is really attracted to Australia... Would love to see those famous steep hills in south east Asia, too. ![]() |

haha I see you posted a travel thread! nice.
Well I agree, Egypt would be amazing, for me I dont know much about it but have always wanted to see the Pryramids. Dont think Newfoundland would have much on that tho! lol. For me, I would love to go to Peru to see Macchu Piccu, also Stonehenge, would love to stand in a crop circle! Anything Spiritual Im there! But on a more relaxing trip I would love to go to spain! As well I would like to return to Ireland, moved tehre when I was 18 for a year, and loved it and would love to go back! |

You're already there, John.
![]() As for spiritual places - if you ever get to the UK I can try to recommend a few places which still retain a "vibe". Some places just have a feel, you can't explain, that is missing at other places. For example, Rievaux Abbey in North Yorkshire in the UK, is a ruined monastery that for some reason doesn't feel entirely deserted by the original outlook of the place - whilst a 45 min drive away there's another ruin - Fountians Abbey - which although very pretty and listed as a World Heritage site, just doesn't have the same impact feel. Some nice places up here in Scotland, too - the hills overlooking Kinloss for starters. ![]() |

I personally have always dreamed of going to Australia. Not sure exactly why other than I just really think that I would love it. The animals, the terrain, everything. I know it most likely will never happen but we can always dream right?

too much work and of course low budget limits me from traveling... |
