Some nice videos of crash tests by the Insurance Institute for Highway Safety:

See if yours is listed.

(Was thinking a VW Beetle might suit my girlfriend - but looking at the video, not keen at all on the side impact issues raised)

back when my 2000 vic was tested it was rated good in all categories. either the test have changed or the 03-07 suck for safety in side impacts as well. well, marginal with side airbags.

I didn't check my car on there, but I always love to watch those crash tests!

I haven't really check the stats on my vehicle lately. I have a chevy blazer, and the last time I checked it was not too good.

my dad always asked me to watch here the car I want before buying..

yup..better to watch first here before buying...of course be sure your car to be insured...lols..
