Default oil in my water

Hi,
Iam having trouble with my rover 400 i have oil in my header tank, i went to a garage but they quoted me a sum greater than the value of my car, i have been told that i could still run it for a few months can someone advise me.

it is not good to run a car with a gasket leak like that. if you don't want to keep the car for long, then yeah, drive it til it dies.

if you like this car and want to keep it around for a little bit, get her fixed.

I wouldn't even chance running it around for a few months, unless you really don't need the car. If not, then yeah, you might get a couple months out of it before it's completely unusable.

Try to consult some shops near you. It is really bad to run a car that has a leak like that.
