According to the Driver and Vehicles Licensing Agency, less that half of cars scrapped in the UK in 2006 were issued with Certificates of Destruction (CoD). I think the problem is that many don't realise they need a destruction certificate. I do hope that most scrap yards do follow the regulations but there are a lot of cow boys out there. We are always careful to provide customers with the necessary paper work once we have picked up a vehicle. You can read more about our processes here.
