Default Goodyear Tires

Goodyear Tire & Rubber Company was founded in 1898 when Frank Sayberling bought the first factory for the money borrowed from his brother. Rubber and cotton had to be transported from the Down Under and the shuttle service was limited. So Sayberling created the company and gave it the name of the brave researcher Charles Goodyear who discovered vulcanization. Sayberling also invented the distinctive company symbol – a winged sandal that still symbolically mediates the company with its past.

At first Goodyear Company that produced tires for bicycles, carts and poker counters contained only a 13-person staff. The first month of the factory income made out 8246 dollars. The Goodyear Company made the long way from the first bicycle tire produced in 1898 to the hugest world tire company. The company got this title of honor in 1916. In 1926 Goodyear Tires was named as the biggest rubber company. These first legendary years made the running for the company’s work with clients too.

If looking at a Goodyear brand with its thousands of innovations, scientific discoveries, new inventions and small and significant improvements today you will feel energetic pioneering practical character of its founders. Nowadays Goodyear is the biggest world tire manufacturer the production of which is sold on 6 continents. The company’s sales volume makes out 15 billions a year. Everybody values the Goodyear tires for their undoubted compounding quality, good treadwear and high speed rating. Besides Goodyear tires production the company manufactures the tires of such brands as Dunlop, Kelly, Fulda, Lee, Sava and Debica.
