Jaguar was adding a new plug-in hybrid powertrain version to the 2011 XJ. Before that, though, Jaguar will be releasing standard powertrain versions of the all-new XJ in July and the company has just released a teaser photo shot of this car that shows off the panoramic glass roof. This year, the Jaguar XJ will be called the "ultra-efficient Gen III petrol" engine; and a V6 diesel will be available. The XJ will also be the first Jaguar to use an aluminum body architecture. Jaguar will take your order starting July 9 when the vehicle will be unveiled in London; deliveries will start in some markets at the end of 2009.
