Seat announced the debut of the Seat Ibiza Bocanegra production version, during the press days at the Barcelona International Motor Show. The Bocanegra Concept was first release last year at the Geneva Motor Show and it is previewed the new generation Ibiza.
The car, also a tribute to Seat’s original Bocanegra, the 1200 Sport, which debuted in Spain in 1975 with very similar to the concept, Seat deciding to keep the black styling elements at its nose (black double headlights, central grille with honeycomb mesh and black surround including air vents). The front bumper, which also incorporated fog lights, combines black with the body color and is bigger at the bottom and over the wheel arches, giving the car a very aggressive look. At the back, the Bocanegra received honeycomb mesh on the side grids, new spoiler, chunky wheel arches and a tinted rear window, plus a large “Bocanegra” badge on the rear hatch. The sporty look is completed by black door mirror housings, dark tinted sunroof and 17-inch Sira alloys.
