Wow, it's been awhile....
I sold that Eclipse, it had no potential... and I bought a 1991 Eagle Talon Tsi... I'd post all the stuff done to it, but I'd be rewriting it so many times, just take a look at it... http://www.cardomain.com/ride/2462639/1 |

Thanks... didn't buy it for the looks though... if that were the case, I woulda kept the Eclipse... lol
This one's hellafast... That gold valve cover is no longer on the car... it was cracked around the bolt holes and leaking oil... that's why it was all over the intercooler and hood... I got a silver one up there now (not polished, factory silver)... and I need to update those pics... The front of the car has been cleaned up a little since the oil leak was fixed... |

that's good. anything else fixed on the 'bad' list yet.
this list sucks though! The bad: wires have been cut and spliced together some speakers are not working some interior is missing/broken fuel injectors maxing out clutch master cylinder starting to go out no reverse lights bad wheel hop when launching (hopefully will be fixed when the new motor mounts are installed) |

some... I have fixed some wires... some won't be fixed until I take out the motor (for a buildup)...
the speakers I have figured out, but haven't actually sat down and done yet... not too worried a/b the interior... it's gonna be a street strip car... what's in there now is rattling really bad gotta get a datalogger to tune.... looking at injectors and a turbo... the clutch slave has sorta fixed itself... I am not certain it was that, I think the drivetrain geometry was off b/c the motor mounts were so bad... Not worried a/b reverse lights, I've got a friend who can inspect the car, and he said they're not necessary... Wheel hop has become controllable... I have 2 of the 4 prothane inserts done... gotta find the time to go get the other 2 done... Car is scheduled for track time Friday night... I did find out hte radiator has a hairline crack on the top of it... it is soon to be replaced... |

and last night... ceramic brakes (no more squeal)...
still gotta tear it back down, to replace two stripped wheel studs... and gotta put in two more prothanes... then it'll be straight for Friday night (track night) |

well, looks like it's supposed to rain today... that might not be such a bad thing... b/c I never got done installing all my prothane mounts... I've got 2 of 4... and another almost done...
