Default Car stereo

I need to have a cheap inexpensive radio installed in my old car just to have something to listen to - any suggestions? Nothing fancy for this ride.

I picked a cheapy open box stereo at circuit city had in installed for just under 100, if you have experience installing yourself you could get one off craigslist or the pawn shop for fairly cheap as well.

The real cheap would be a boom box in the floor board

Other wise, check with the local stereo shops. They might have some that are "trade ins" or old models that you can work out a deal for (make sure you get installation included!)

Right now, my kids do take a boom box and hook it up into a power converter. Just too much hassle.

MY husband bought one for his work car at a pawn shop pretty cheap. He but it in him self and it works great.

ebay... you can find older versions of Alpines and Eclipses and Pioneers.

Make sure you buy from a reputable store though, they'll have return policies and be trustworthy...
