I must say that's quick. I'd say it really depends on the car comparison. You don't wanna look at a Supra vs. a Pinto (hardly American muscle).

I'd also say it depends on what mods you are going for. Imports are more for turbos... American Muscle, I think of as being all motor (maybe nitrous).

I'd also have to say, not many import tuners (aside from professionals and sponsored/tech people) play around with gear ratios. I'm sure that if we did, the numbers could be better...

I have no issue talking a/b the American/Import thing... I'm not going to bash... I really like both (they are cars and they can be fast, that's all I care about).

I'd have to say, Evos, Stis, and S2000s, would be more likely to make numbers like that than say, Civics, integras, and the like...
They are AWD/RWD and would hook up much better.

Again, the world's fastest Civic runs 250MPH, not something every muscle car can do... a lot of the fox bodies around here spank people on the track, but top out too fast on the streets, b/c of gear ratios...

you mean traps 250mph on a 1/4 mile or top speed?

if you say traps that much, i have to see the informations about it, videos, etc.

if you say top speed. i am definetely not interested in top speed races.. my dads 90hp at the crank fiat marea would run 140mph.

my uncles 99 honda civic (european) i beleive 100hp ran 155mph top speed. most cars can top out pretty good numbers.

again, if that civic trapped 250mph on a 1/4 mile, i would appriciate to see the info. videos, pics.

i meant mod to mod. lets say you have enough money to spend to an import and another dude has enough money to spend on an American Muscle. after both sides ready, who would have faster car? thats what i meant!

thanks

Is that a simulation or the real thing? Can a car like that hold such turbo power? With that setup I'd like to see it making more than 1462hp at the wheels. I think it could and this video is so old that it probably does now
