Introduction Thread

I think this site should have an introduction thread, I realize the bar is pretty open discussion, but I felt like the intro thread should be it's own.

I don't know if I can do that or how to do that.

I just haven't seen anyone else suggest this, and thought if I threw it up in the air, some other people would have some input on this too.

Edit: Actually, I have to take back my remarks. Bigjon did request a thread like this back in May (7, '06)

Ok, I'm looking at setting up a few changes - the new skin, plus a couple of new boards, so am going to pencil this one in.
