I've now implemented the new forum skin I threatened to set up a while back.
![]() Was relatively painless, and looks a heck of a lot better than the previous look I think. ![]() I'm also going to create some additional boards: 1. Introductions board So people can say hi, introduce themselves, and be welcome to the community. 2. Manufacturers boards I'm going to set up boards for various car manufacturers - Nissan, Ford, Chrysler, Toyota, etc - where individual car models and general issues can be discussed. I'll try to ensure it doesn't look too crowded, and push for some discussions myself in these areas. Overall, I may not have been posting much, but I have been busy setting up links to the site and slowly developing it - traffic looks like it's going to climb in March and I'm literally about to start publishing articles which link here. Also had a number of other links developed over the past few months, so should help build this place up into the general autos & car community it deserves to be. ![]() |

Awesome work. The forum does look much better.
I do think the introduction board will add a lot here, and allow us to get to know each other a little. I thought about asking for the manufacturers' board awhile back, but I figured the site still had too few members and the discussions would be spread far and few between. I will do what I can to add to discussions, even the one's where I don't know much about the cars. It will be a learning experience to say the least. I do like the new look though and look forward to seeing our posts/members leap forwards in numbers. |

Okay, I've started up a few manufacturer boards - by no means exclusive though.
![]() I've also started up a few threads and will get some more done later - got to get back to paid work for a while now. ![]() |

ADDED: I'm also tempted to remove the following boards, and move the topics in other areas, such as general discussion:
Technical Questions Car Electronics Automotive Articles Panther Forum Remote Control I'm also tempted to open up a couple more boards: Autoinsurance - so we can share some of the best deals we've found around, and general issues with making claims. Motorsports - somewhere to discuss racing season events - anything from Daytona to Formula 1, I reckon. Let me know what you think... |

Motorsports would be a cool main forum, then there should be sub-forums to break down the different types (street racing, drag racing[possible sub-forums, 1/4 and 1/8], Nascar, Autocross, Formula1, drift, etc...) Good ideas, I'm really interested in seeing where these things go. |
