I've got 2 10" rockfords in a ported box that I built. Power comes from a couple rockford amps and a dragster capacitor. I also built a false back for it to conceal all of the wiring. My speakers are also rockford. I've had this setup for a couple years, it sounds good and has been very reliable. Let's see what you've got.

I have the same monoblock amp for my sub, heh.

My setup is a 12" Rockford Fosgate sub, with that amp, wired from my back speakers to the high level input (horrible, I know, but it works!) all connected to my OEM navi (pics in the other thread,) with a phatbox.

I like your stealth box brnofx. My friend has the same sub as you and it sounds good too.

Blaupunkt Head Unit
Stock 8 speaker stereo
2 JBL 10" Subs in bandpass enclosure
Alpine 400 watt 2 channel V12 amp (Not very powerful but it does what I want)
JVC 12 disc CD changer
4 ga. wiring kit

No capacitor, as my subs don't really suck much power, and my alternator is already upgreaded from 70 to 90 amps. I've had the subs in it for over 2 years now and no problems yet! I'm getting kind of sick of the 2 subs, so I got a 10" DVC Image Dynamics sub to replace them. I'm hoping to build an enclosure much like the one in that passat.
