Koni coilovers here. My car has never seen snow and never will, so snowplow effect is non-existent. LOL
Yes you can reverse back to a stock suspension from coilovers, but I honestly can't see why anyone would want to (other than to swap the coilovers onto a new project whilst dumping the old one). Coilovers do ride a little harder than a spring/shock combo, but the adjustability makes up for any minor inconvenience. |

The camber plate would only affect the camber angle of the wheel - the spindle corrects the angles of the control arms.
From _/ when the car is lowered to --- as per the stock configuration. (you have to imagine the wheels at either end of those very detailed drawings) |

my dad and I just put some H&R oe sport springs and Bilstein Hd's on my mom's 97 Jetta TDi and it's pretty good.
the ride is not harsh at all, ride height is almost stock and there is no body lean at all in the corners now, my dad loves it. |

^^ Ride quality is one of the nicest advantages of using a good quality shock/spring combination. Alot of that comfort can be lost with coilovers. But that's ok, I like really stiff suspension haha.
