Detailing

I am an avid detailer and on my regular board (passatworld) they refuse to have a detailing forum

Anyways I have plenty of experience and take pride in the condition of my Passat.**People think I am insane detailing for 8-10 hours but it is worth it.**

People should know the benefits of clay, random orbital's and microfibre.

I like very much to keep my ride as clean as possible, and I do in the standard areas. Things I'd like help with are:

- cleaning the engine bay for the showroom shine
- touching up rock chips and other paintly pertrubences
- cleaning the greasey sticky stuff that is for some reason all around my trunk pistons
- removing rust from my brake areas

So as you can see, I have clearly proven the need for a detailing section in the Parts, Tuning and Tech area of the forum.
