How to delete threads?

I have a thread about a 1990 G60 corrado for sale that i would like to delete due to the fact that it is not for sale anymore...how do i go about doing this? Thanks,

Well I guess you could try to delete the first post in the thread... the red X on the post will do that... but to actually delete an entire thread? You may have to ask a Mod to do that.

Would it be acceptable to lock the thread and edit your posts to let everyone know the car has been sold?

I like to delete as few messages/threads as possible...
