I guess I classify as being from the 'peg.

I live in Stonewall right now, but I work, breathe and live River City.

I drive a Corrado VR6 (or at least want to, it's still under works) so if you see me with RiverCity decals, wave back and I'll give you a card...I can definitely help you tune your ride to your obviously high expectations.

welcome to the new (winnipeg) manitoba thread! and yes, you do classify. I guess the thread is directed towards winnipegers, cus thats obviously where the larger population is. But its open for all manitoba residents. I, myself dont even live in winnipeg, i live in landmark. But i aslo work/breathe/live in winnipeg, so i classified myself

corrado hey? thats wicked, my cousins got a corrado vr6 as well. his is pearl white, nice 7 or 8 spoke anthracite rims (for sale). i love the old school vw's every bit as i love my MK4.

thanks for the offer on the tuning help! but i think im going to be doing all my own work at the garage im gonna be apprenticing at, walls rod & custom. they've got a dyno and everything there. i should be set. but dont worry i'll still wave :P

As for the tuning help, I was moreso offering parts than labour.

As my sig entails, I can get lots of nice stuff for your ride.

Hi everyone. I'm from Winterpeg too. Name is Mark and have a candy white gti mkv. I recognize some of you guys from vortex's Manitoba thread. Hey Trevor, can you get stuff for gti mkv's? I'm looking for oem euro springs. They seem to be in back order everywhere.

I'm not sure, but I think there was someone else at the show n shine that had the German flag too.

The only things that have been done to my car are stub antenna and Magnaflow exhaust, hah. Had Hella smoked tails, but they got smoked themselves in an accident D: I was able to retrieve one, but still need a replacement on the driver side. I still haven't gotten any word from Autopac on those. They didn't even get me stock ones, I was just lucky to still have mine and use that as a 'temporary replacement', which has been temporary since March. D'oh!

One major mod (well to me anyway, hah) is on the way. Hopefully next week. I'll keep you guys posted when I get it in. I don't wanna jinx it, so I won't say anything more about it just yet.

Oh, and to get emoticons, you'll have to click on 'NEW REPLY' at the bottom and that should take you to the more 'robust' reply page, hah. Enjoy! :boink:

edit: or were you talking about custom emoticons?:???:

well i knew about the "robust" reply page and i saw those emoticons there. i was just curious if there are more/better ones to choose from other than the "get more" link. the ones here are pretty lame, but so lame.. that its kinda funny, so i guess it works out

about the trigger happiness.. i was trying to post that comment and the page wasnt loading so i tryed again and it still didnt, so i left it. i guess it posted both times.

as for the parts, its always nice to have a couple different places to reference! i'll definitly keep you in mind. thanks.. actually im lookin into some KW V2 coilovers for my 1.8T. could you get me a price on that kit? that'd be awesome! thanks again

I may not make it out sunday... I'm trying something I've never done before on my jetta, and depending on how it turns out i may go to advance... but we'll see.
