what years did they make these cars, 81-83?? what did they go for new?

yup, they were only built from 81- 83 and the quality got better in the last year's. Back in 81 the sticker price was in the high $25,000. This compare to a Porsche 911 @ $14,999 in 1981.(Ouch)

Just got my A8 rep's on today, i will take some better pic's on a nice sunny day.

The car still drives very good for a 19 rim with rubber bands, i am pleasantly surprised.:boink:

and yes the garage is only 1 1/2 car and i have the delorean,c240 and the bike in it, it's tight but they fit.

My ultimate faves are old.

I would kill for a 87 lotus esprit turbo,late 80's porsche factory slant nose.

Funny you should mention the porsche.**I have a buddy on the look out in California for a 80's 911.**Just waiting for the right time, price, deal - etc.

Plan is to get my buddy to do all the leg work, inspections, etc - then I will fly out with my brother, pick it up - and drive it back up the east coast to home.

Should be a great road trip.**:driver:
