Default Finally installed my boost gauge....

correctly that is.**Originally picked up a cheap gauge to diagnose a leak, had cut into the stock ashtray area just to have it somewhere....that lasted just under two years.

Ordered a VDO gauge and pod from ECS - installed it on the sterring column - very subtle, blends right in with existing gauges and colors.

Picked up a new ashtray insert on ebay - took out the lighter I do not use and replaced it with a 12V aux plug instead.

Took the entire console out**-**and proceeded to add another 12V plug beside the button for the gas door - so that my daughter has somewhere to plug the DVD / MPS - or whatever else she has going on...

That's it really - no great performance mod - just cleaning up the interior a bit, and making my daily driver just a little better.

Installed my summer wheels and tires today - looking forward to ripping all the winter crap out - get a good wash and wax, and then maybe post some pics....

Have a good one

Bill

Looks good! Did you get the 'perfect match' LED for the gauge as well?

Yes and no

I picked up the new led blue light from ecs, but also purchased the perfect match indigo blue bulb also.

I installed the led first, the color is off just a bit - but with everything installed - will leave it for now

Thanks for the reply
