Legalstreets merges with vwforums.ca

Just to let you all know, over the weekend I bought a VW owners forum for Canadian drivers, and now merged it with LegalStreets, doubling the size of these forums.

I've spent the morning moving the vwforum content into Legalstreets and reordered the boards so that the transition should not simply be much smoother, but also help present a stronger and better cars & autos forum overall.

I know it's a bit weird in that there are already a number of US and UK members of LegalStreets, and now we have sizeable Canadian contingent - but I like the idea of an international driving forum.

Oh - I've also tweaked the system, so new members must state their location - this should make it easier to avoid confusion across international boundaries.

In the meantime, a warm welcome to everyone from vwforums.ca to LegalStreets, and I sincerely hope that some of you can find good company and a kind of home here on the newly merged forums.

I'm still getting the lay of the land here, and it seems the other VW Canada members are still shy. At any rate, this place seems cool, and I will certainly keep poking around for a while. Look forward to getting to know the crew here better!
